Worship

-   More about our worship and services

You are warmly invited to all our worship and coffee afterwards. We have many styles spread across a range of services from something suitable for noisy children to a more reflective spirituality. Communion services are open to everyone, if you have not been confirmed you can come forward for a blessing.

There is a service every week at 10.00am alternating between our two churches plus 8.00am Holy Communion and 6.30 Choral Evensong on selected Sundays. For a full list of all services click here.

Timmy and his master! Family Service A very informal, often noisy celebration. Children can play in the toy corner or stay with their families throughout the service. You can never be quite sure what will happen but all are invited to come and find out!

The Band Family Communion This is a mix of ages from 0 – 100 all joined together to celebrate communion. Children and adults assist in doing readings and prayers.
If you enjoy singing hymns and choruses, come at 9.40am and join the choir for the morning practice - all ages invited - you don't have to read music!

The Sanctuary at Holy Trinity Parish Communion This is a traditional sung communion service. The service combines traditional form with contemporary language. Many people enjoy chatting over coffee after the service.
The children are invited to join Church Play and then rejoin the congregation later in the service.

The Chancel window at St Mary's Church Holy Communion (1662) This is a traditional Anglican communion offering a time for peace and reflection.
