Church Family
- A diverse group in every way
We are people of all ages, with different interests united by a common bond in the Christian Faith. Some are seeking, some have been Christians for many years.
We have an incredible range of talents from Preaching to hospitality to music making.
Who ever you are you will always find a welcome here. We may get things wrong sometimes, but we try to show God’s love to all who walk through our doors.

Prayer for Haiti
O God, our refuge and strength,
we hold before you the nation and people of Haiti,
and pray for healing in the midst of tragedy and devastation.
Give comfort to the homeless, the bereaved and the suffering,
courage to survivors,
wisdom to those who seek to help,
and light to all who live in the shadow of death.
This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ,
our rock and our salvation. Amen.

Parish Away Day - 27th February
We pray for the Parish Away Day - Through the Looking Glass That as we 'reflect' on who we are as a Christian community in this Parish (not always seriously!)we can understand better what we value most in the Parish. Then, in the formal and not so formal parts of the day, we can move towards all that we are together called to be and do....
in Jesus' Name. Amen

LENT - Begins 17th February - Ash Wednesday
We pray for parish during this coming time of Lent; that in a busy world, often leaving little time for peace, that everyone will have the opportunity for quiet and reflection.
We give thanks for those who are making possible the Lent Course and also the Lent Lunch. May they be a time for friendship and nourishment, both of body and soul.
In Jesus' Name. Amen

| Puppets, Joe and Katie appeared together for the first time on Mothering Sunday at St Mary’s to speak to the congregation on the importance of being kind and loving to one another. The script was written especially for the occasion by Decia who is in the process of producing more scripts during her Sabbatical.
Frances Houghton was visiting from Holy Trinity Hotwells with Katie and said that they had really enjoyed taking part in the sketch.
Andrew was pleased that Joe had behaved himself, although he was a bit cheeky, but no one seemed to mind and he’d got on so well with Katie that the foursome are keen to put on some more future productions.
